Welcome to the Department of Theology and Economics (DETEC) at the Faculty of Theology and Ministry (FTM) of the Ghana Christian University College (GhanaCU). We are very proud to announce that the programmes of DETEC have been duly accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC). This means the University College has received top accolades for its capacity to offer Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes.
Ghana Christian University College (GhanaCU), formerly Ghana Christian University College & Seminary, was established in 1966 by American and Ghanaian Christians. The institution was founded to train African Evangelists, Teachers, and Ministers of the Gospel, providing an opportunity for anyone, regardless of church background, to learn the truth from God’s Word without denominational bias.
We pride ourselves with the quality of University education to offer you the best in Development Economics with Ethics and Innovation degrees in Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes to land you into world class economics professionals upon completion. DETEC is specialized in Development Economics from undergraduate to postgraduate degrees towards doctoral level.
